CTLS Language School is an establishment with a mission, namely to bring mutual enrichment to both foreigners and Thais. The mutual enrichment takes the form of improving the interaction and intercommunication between these two groups by teaching a number of courses to this end.

CTLS is fully licenced by the Ministry of Education and has the full approval, backing and encouragement of both the Immigration Bureau and the local authority, which specifically asked the school to set up in Pattaya so as to offer foreigners, in particular, the opportunity to competently learn Thai, and familiarise themselves with the Thai culture, in order to be more fully integrated into the Thai society. CTLS has been running a variety of courses at its Bangkok branch for five years, and has graduated over 500 students from its Thai Language and Culture programme, all of whom successfully gained ED Visas.

The 1 Year ED (student) Visa


 Our school provides all the necessary legal documents which you take with you to one of the designated countries that have a Thai consulate. Upon returning to Thailand, you receive the standard permit to stay for 90 days, and the extension for the rest of the year is granted at local immigration offices for a fee of 1,900 THB.


One does not have to leave the country after that, nor pay any additional fees. You can now enjoy staying in Thailand worry-free for one year.


 




20-Hour Thai Professional Ethics and Culture Course


It is now mandatory for all foreigners that wish to teach in Thailand take this course. There are no exceptions! The purpose of this course is to familiarize one with the general “ins and outs” of the Thai culture, and how to apply it in and out of the classroom. This class is a wonderful insight to the Thai lifestyle and customs, and after having taken it you will be glad you did.
