TLS Language School Terms and Conditions for Booking a TEFL Course

It is best that you start with TLS’s Internet application form.

• Upon approval of your completed application, you will be asked to pay a non-refundable 50% of the course fee.
• Should you choose to cancel from taking the course after having paid all or part of the cost of the course, TLS’s will refund all monies paid, excluding the 50% deposit and all charges incurred, i.e. transfer fees incurred by the banks etc.
• The staff, teaching materials and accommodations must be paid in advance; we therefore wish to have serious inquiries only. The classes scheduled are based on minimum number of students attending; we cannot guarantee acquiring new students on short notice.
• Please pay the balance at least 7 days before your class starts. Cash payments will be accepted provided prior arrangements have been approved by TLS. To make arrangements other than shown on the website, please contact tlslanguageschool@gmail.com.
• As a part of our pre-screening process, applicants are requested to submit an account of their personal history, very much the same format as a CV, or job resume. We ask to include your intentions for taking the course, as well as future goals or aspirations if any. Inaccuracies or fraudulent claims included in the application may subject the student for grounds for dismissal from the course. This is for job placement purposes.
• The course fee is based on your satisfactory completing the entire curriculum, which includes the Teaching Practices within the 30 days of classes as scheduled. If for any reason you do not satisfactorily complete course within the allotted time period, you may file to complete the course at a later date at an extra cost to you.
• The cost to cover the additional staff time is $35.00 for each class taught, or Teaching Practice, and $20.00 for piece of written work. Short pieces of work will be considered and lumped together and priced on an hourly basis of $20.00 per hour. If you withdraw from the participation of your current course and which to participate on a later course, an additional administration fee must be paid.
• Please be aware that this course is work based, and assignments must be complete as per the schedule. Students can and do fail these courses if not taken seriously.
• TLS Language School will provide you with an excellent TEFL course. It is packed with pertinent information and presented to you by experienced instructors. Learning is an act of “doer-ship”.
