I wanted to learn the Thai language to enhance my experience of living in Thailand. As an added bonus the ED Visa takes the hassle out of staying long term, particularly if you can't get the retirement visa. CTLS provided all the documentation needed and it only took 3 days processing at the Thai Consulate to get a 1 year visa! The classes at CTLS are small and informal, which makes it fun to learn. I particularly enjoy learning to read and write, it requires a bit more effort but will eventually help me to speak better than relying on transliteration. If you are looking to get away for awhile I can highly recommend living in Pattaya and studying at CTLS

A few years ago I had to go to Immigration to renew my tourist visa and saw an advisement for CTLS ED Visa’s.

I went to see them and decided to apply for an ED Visa to learn Thai. I was given a 12 month Visa to enable me to learn Thai.I have now been studying at the CTLS School for almost two years and found it to be an excellent school with good friendly teachers for learning the Thai language.I would recommend it to anyone who wishes to learn a new language and at the same time get an ED Visa. Hello My name is Robert, I did the 20 hour Thai Culture Course with TLS Language School i feel that it was of huge benefit in myself obtaining a teaching position.

I genuinley enjoyed the whole experience and thought it was of great value to me in understanding Thai people and there culture, It's very useful in building bridges and making new friends.

After 7 months i am reading and writing Thai, the school have been very flexible in my schedule, I advanced quickly and left my classmates behind to a point where i felt they were holding me back.

After talking to the school we came up with a solution that we where all happy with that involved me being credited with a refund that went towards private classes which are obviously more expensive. Im very happy
